Account & Data Deletion Policy
No Remote Accounts or Cloud Servers Exist
IDSnap does not have user accounts, user logins, or remote servers. We do not store your name, email, documents, photos, or 2FA keys on any cloud database or server. Because 100% of your data resides locally on your physical phone, you do not need to submit a ticket, wait for an administrator, or verify your email to delete your data. You possess instant, sovereign control over your data deletion at all times.
How to Delete Your Data
You can permanently delete your data using any of the following methods:
Delete Individual Files or 2FA Accounts In-App
Open IDSnap $\rightarrow$ navigate to the file or 2FA entry $\rightarrow$ swipe or tap the three dots $\rightarrow$ tap Delete.
The file is immediately unlinked and its physical bytes on the local storage partition are overwritten and erased.
Wipe All App Data via Device Settings (Instant Total Wipe)
To delete all documents, ID cards, 2FA keys, drafts, and database entries at once without uninstalling:
- Open your phone's Settings app.
- Tap Apps or Application Manager.
- Select IDSnap.
- Tap Storage & Cache $\rightarrow$ tap Clear Storage / Clear Data.
This completely erases the local SQLite database, KeyStore entries, and application sandbox.
Uninstall the Application
Press and hold the IDSnap app icon on your home screen or app drawer, and tap Uninstall.
The mobile operating system (Android / iOS) automatically destroys the app's sandboxed storage directory, eliminating 100% of all files, keys, and configurations.
Data Retention Period
Since IDSnap does not collect or transmit data to external servers, our data retention period is Zero (0) days once you delete a file or uninstall the app. There are no backups, disaster recovery snapshots, or logs containing your data on any remote server.
